Proyectoteatro’s 2004 season presents: April 20, 2004
"Mi mujer es el plomero"(My wife is the Plumber) is the
hilarious story of a group of four women, a plumber, the building’s
caretaker, and a widower, who with the help of the unexpected, get
involved in crazy and cross purposes situations. When the plumber,
Daniel, arrives at Cobi's apartment to fix a leak in the bathroom,
the spirit of Cobi's dead wife reincarnates in his body. "Mi mujer es el Plomero"(My wife is the plumber) brings Director Alejandro Pedemonte back on stage staring as Cobi, the widower, and last Season's "A ver, un Aplauso's" street clown, Jesús Velásquez as the plumber. The cast is completed with Proyectoteatro's first actress, Guicha Gutierrez and actor Saúl Martinez; the debut with Proyectoteatro of Argentinean actress Alejandra Rodriguez, and debut in theater of Guatemalan actress Amalia Hurtado and Mexican actress Trini Martinez. Opening night for "Mi mujer es el Plomero" will be May 14 and will perform only for two weekends on the 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23 of 2004. Performances on Fridays and Saturdays will be at 8:00 p.m. with a matinee on Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
