Love, power, anguish, hate and irony are just some of the words
that describe “Los Angeles Terribles” (The Terrible Angels),
a drama that revolves around interpersonal relationships. It's a metaphoric
reality in which these characters live, where each is a subordinate
of the other, living in marginal conditions due to involuntary situations
or of their own making.

In this production we had the honor of once again to
please our loyal patrons and to share this work with a new audience
that will be able to read English Subtitles like those at the opera.
Proyectoteatro was pleased to present a production of
the same quality of the past Season (El dia de la Luna, A ver un Aplauso,
Cuatro historias de Dia de Muertos and Mi Mujer es el Plomero). Los
Angeles Terribles is a contemporary drama of Venezuelan dramaturg Roman
Chalbaud, directed by Alejandro Pedemonte and the participation of the
following talented artists: Jorge Boria (Zacarías), Trinidad
Martinez as (Sagrario), Jesús Velasquez (Angel) and Luis Ordaz
(Gabriel). Special guests, dancer Julie Kimmel (Aspasia) and songwriter
Oliver Rajamani (music).
Los Angeles Terribles presented on October 1-10th, 2004,
for two weekends only (Friday & Saturday 8 p.m. and Sunday Matinee
2 p.m.) at the Santa Cruz Center for Culture, 1805 E. 7th Street (corner
of 7th and Chicon).
